Knee Pain
If you have been living with knee pain, you may have thought that the only solutions were surgery and narcotics. While knee surgery/replacement is sometimes required, there are many other treatment options available today. At Joint Freedom, we are dedicated to providing you with these options.
The first step to addressing your knee pain is a detailed diagnosis of the cause. That’s why we offer anyone suffering from knee pain a free evaluation by one of our orthopedic specialists. This includes reviewing symptoms and medical history as well as a complete examination using our advanced diagnostic tools including our Orthoscan fluoroscopic orthopedic imaging system.

In many cases, our knee pain patients benefit from laser therapy—a non-invasive treatment used to manage knee pain and promote tissue healing. Laser therapy involves the application of concentrated light energy to the affected area, which penetrates the skin and interacts with tissues at the cellular level. This process stimulates cellular activity, increases blood circulation, and reduces inflammation, leading to pain relief and improved joint function and athletic mobility
Because laser therapy is so effective, along with your free evaluation, Joint Freedom also offers a free initial laser therapy session, so you can feel the results for yourself. While we cannot guarantee your level of pain reduction, most patients with knee pain experience pain relief during this first session.
In addition to laser therapy, Joint Freedom also offers Platelet Replacement Therapy (PRP).
PRP is a regenerative treatment used to alleviate knee pain, particularly in cases of osteoarthritis, tendon injuries, or ligament damage. The procedure involves injecting platelet-rich plasma directly into the knee joint. Platelets are rich in growth factors and bioactive proteins that promote tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and stimulate the body's natural healing processes.
Joint Freedom uses state-of-the-art double spin centrifuges to provide the highest platelet count concentration for maximum effectiveness in treating knee pain.
For knee joints with pain and evidence of osteoarthritis, Joint Freedom also offers Hyaluronic Acid (HA) injections.
HA injections are a non-surgical treatment option for knee pain, particularly in patients with osteoarthritis. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance found in joint fluid that helps lubricate and cushion the joint. In osteoarthritic knees, the concentration and quality of hyaluronic acid decreases with age and activity, leading to increased friction and pain.
During the procedure, hyaluronic acid is injected directly into the knee joint to restore lubrication, improve shock absorption, and reduce inflammation. Joint Freedom uses fluoroscopy-guided injections to ensure the hyaluronic acid is injected in the most optimal location with minimal discomfort.
This treatment can provide relief by enhancing joint mobility and reducing pain, especially in cases where other treatments, such as physical therapy or oral medications, have not been effective. This treatment may also delay or eliminate the current need for knee surgery or knee replacement.
